DAY 1 : FEZ – MIDELT – AZROU – ZIZ VALLEY – MERZOUGA DESERT

After breakfast  we pass through Ifrane, a ski resort town, arriving at the cedar forests of Azrou where you can see wild Barbary Macaque monkeys up close, allowing for a perfect opportunity to take photos of the Moroccan wilderness. Lunch will be in a small Berber village of Zaida. We continue through the Atlas Mountains enjoying the landscape of the Medilt area arriving in the small town of Rich, then Erfoud, where you will feel the beginning of the Sahara oasis of Tafilalet, said to be one of the largest oases in the world. Continuing to Merzouga  where we take your camel trek and we discover the Sand Sea landscape of Merzouga. Dinner is in front of the tent where you spend the night, star gazing and listening to the local Berbers play their music for you.
 

DAY 2 : FROM MERZOUGA DESERT TO FEZ

After watching the sunrise, ride the camels back to Merzouga where you will shower and eat breakfast.  Then  start your journey to Fez. Stopping on the road to enjoy tea with a nomadic family before passing through the High Atlas Mountains again. We stop at Midelt, a very impressive mountain town at 1488 metres of altitude, where you will have lunch. In the afternoon we’ll continue to the legendary city of Fez. Arriving in Fez early evening. The private tour with “Morocco Dreams Tours” finishing in Fez.
